About Pueblita
Hola! My name is Sandy and welcome to Pueblita! I have worked closely with the houseless community here in Los Angeles in the past couple years. I’ve done warm meal distributions, clothing drives, and pantry drop-offs with different organizations. I am very passionate about fixing and helping the problems we have to overcome as a society. This happens through immediate action which is what helped Pueblita come to life.
One day I was on the phone with my momma bear who is originally from Alcaraces, Mexico (near Colima) about our trips to visit our family. It started out having my mom and myself reminiscing on the fresh tortillas we would buy every morning from the shop around the corner of my abuelos house. I come from a family that is very passionate about food. There is no funny business when it comes to Mexican food in our house. From this memory, I decided I wanted to share the tastiness of fresh tortillas with my community.
From here, I decided to devout my passion for community work with a combination of my Hispanic roots to donate money to different causes. Each month, with the help of YOU, Pueblita will be donating a majority of the proceeds to a different organization or campaign.
Mission Statement
Pueblita’s goal is to donate the majority of the proceeds of every tortillas purchase to a different organization or campaign. Pueblita is not just a brand but a community and we welcome all walks of life to join us on this journey. This is a safe space with zero tolerance for any hate and discrimination.
